Fromage originated nearly 15 years ago with a modest selection of French cheeses closely following the advent of the iPhone. It quickly gained popularity within the "Food and Drink" category as the pioneering cheese-focused app in the App Store.

I have a background in cheese making from my days at Rogue Valley Creamery in Oregon during the late '70s. This experience crafting artisan Cheddar and Blue cheeses influenced my journey toward developing Fromage on the iPhone platform.
